Bishop Kihneman who was then Msgr. Kihneman, was our Pastor for 18 years. He brought in the Montessori Method of teaching students to our school over 30 years ago, and it has remained an important part of our school helping PreK and K students learn and grow.

After leaving us, he remained a priest in the Diocese of Corpus Christi before he was installed as the Bishop of Biloxi in Mississippi, Out of respect for and gratitude to him, we will take our 1st-5th grade students to his Mass on this day. Our SHS parents and any friends of his are certainly welcome to join us.
